Hii Everyone!! So how’s life going? Fall is finally here and whats better than a spa day at home. You know what, I live for spas especially when it chillier outside. I donno why but for me its the perfect time to have a diy spa at home. So I decided to share my favorite spa recipes with you. I hope you’d like it and would help you in any way. So here we go.
So you need to start with exfoliating your skin to get rid of all that dead skin cells. This scrub is so nice and it is so easy to make. I can’t describe my love for this one.
Sugar ( you can use any sugar; brown sugar or white)
slice up the lemon in half and apply some some on the inner side of the lemon. Then, cover the honey with sugar. You can do it with the both halfs of the lemon. Now you only need to scrub, scrub and scrub.
I am giving you options so that you can try which ever you want. Both are equally good but I wanted to share my top two diy masks with you.
The recipe of this mask was told by one of my friend and since I tried this, I’m so in love with it. This is really good for your skin and it is so simple to make.
Quarter cup Oats
Quarter cup Milk
Mix both the ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds. And you’re done and now you just need to put it on your skin and leave it for about 15- 20 minutes. You’ll see the difference.
This can be used for any skin type
2. Mint cucumber Aloe Mask:
So this is an other option that you can try. I like these both masks. So you can try according to which ingredients are available.
I/4 cucumber – peeled and chopped
2 – 3 mint leaves
4 Tbsp Aloe vera gel
So what you need to do is to put all the ingredients in a food processor to make these nice and fine. Once you get a fine paste of it, apply it on your skin for 15 – 20 minutes and your skin feels fresh, soft and brighter.
You can put two slices of cucumber on your eyes.
After all these scrubs and masks, you would love to take a warm bath afterwards.
So you’re not done now as you need to put some attention on your body. So you can try out this scrub for your whole body cuz your whole body deserve some love.
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 cup sugar
3- 4 Tbsp lime juice
Mix all the ingredients well and its done. Gently scrub your skin with it in a massaging way.
For my hair what I like to do is I soak one glass of rice in three glasses of water, for 30- 45 minutes and then seive out the rice from the water. Pour the water on your hair and then, wash your hair. It will make your hair super soft and silky. You need to try this out and I guarantee you’d love your hair afterwards.
